Part of the Famiglia Oliva Collection, the Pigi (the Spring) introduces the olfactory experience by arousing the sense of smell. Through the perfectly shaped opening, you breathe in the sweet, intense smell with a natural gesture. Immediately after, the sense of taste is aroused by the aromatic components of the olive oil. Handmade by local Neopolitan craftsman Rua Catalana, the tin-plated brass and copper olfactory vessel is characterized by an archetypal shape.
Ideated by Mariella Caputo, a sommelier, restaurant owner and master olive oil taster and designer Astrid Luglio the Famiglia Oliva Collection playfully brings to life the ancient and rustic ritual of olive oil tasting.
