PRIVATE CLIENT EXPERIENCES
Private Experiences for Clients, Founders, and Significant Moments
Some moments require more care.
The kind of moment where getting it wrong is not an option and getting it right requires someone who understands what right actually means for the people involved.
Most private events are built quickly. A venue, a menu, a sequence that fills the time but does not hold meaning. Something that could have been arranged by anyone, for anyone, on any occasion.
We design private experiences that are shaped properly. Built around the people involved, the context of the moment, and the level of attention it deserves. What takes place feels natural, considered, and specific to those present — because it was designed for them and no one else.
What a Private Experience Is Meant to Be
A private experience is not simply an event. It is a moment designed to be lived through, where every element supports the atmosphere rather than competes with it.
DLISH works with founders, families, and private clients to create experiences that feel grounded, discreet, and intentional. The focus is not on scale. It is on precision — on the details that are noticed without being announced and the atmosphere that allows people to be fully present.
Our work ranges from intimate dinners and milestone celebrations to multi-day, location-based experiences across Italy, the United States, and beyond. Every engagement begins with understanding the people and the moment before a single element is designed.
What We Design
Milestone celebrations
Birthdays, anniversaries, and personal markers that require more than a standard event format. Built with attention to rhythm, setting, and detail — where the structure of the experience reflects the significance of the occasion rather than a template applied to it.
Private dinners and intimate gatherings
Formats designed around conversation, food, and atmosphere. Often shaped through cultural and sensory elements — a chef who has cooked in that kitchen for thirty years, a wine chosen for the particular evening rather than the menu, a setting that changes how people feel when they walk into it.
Founder and executive experiences
Moments designed for individuals who operate at a high level and expect the same quality of thought in what is created for them. These are often personal rather than professional in context — a milestone, a celebration, a gathering of people who matter.
Travel-based and multi-day experiences
Experiences built across locations, often connected to our corporate retreats and team experiences, where movement, setting, and time are part of the design rather than logistics to be managed around it.
How It Works
Every private experience begins with understanding the context. Who is involved, what is being marked, and what the experience should feel like from the first moment to the last.
From there, we shape the structure. Location, flow, and pacing are designed together rather than assembled separately. We work with chefs, artisans, and cultural spaces to build something that feels grounded in place and purpose rather than arranged for the occasion.
Sourcing, production, and execution are handled end to end. One point of contact throughout. Complete discretion maintained at every stage — from the initial conversation to the final delivery.
If you are planning something that matters, we can begin shaping it now.
Where They Happen
We design private experiences across Italy, the United States, and London, with global execution available wherever the moment calls for.
Italy is where much of our deepest work happens. In Naples, a private dinner in a palazzo with a chef whose family has cooked in that kitchen for generations carries a weight that no arranged venue can replicate. In Tuscany, a private estate where the olive oil on the table was pressed from trees visible through the window is not a detail — it is the entire point. Milan brings design culture, artisan access, and the particular sophistication of a city that takes beauty seriously. These are not backdrops. They are part of the experience itself.
In the United States, we work across Los Angeles, New York, and select destinations shaped around the client. Los Angeles offers outdoor settings, ease, and the particular light that allows people to drop their guard in a way that enclosed spaces rarely permit. New York formats work with the city's density and energy as the context rather than against it.
London moves naturally between city and countryside. The formality of the city for arrival and context, the genuine stillness of the countryside within two hours for the experience itself.
Each location is selected based on the people, the purpose, and the atmosphere the moment requires.
Why Private Experiences Work
A well-designed private experience removes friction.
It allows people to be fully present — to connect, to mark the moment, and to move through the experience without distraction or the sense that something is slightly wrong. Nothing forced. Nothing out of place. Nothing that draws attention to itself when it should be invisible.
What remains is the experience itself. The particular quality of the light in a room. A flavor encountered for the first time. A conversation that opened because the setting made it possible. The detail that was noticed without being announced — the one that tells the people present that someone understood exactly what this moment was for.
This is where meaning is created. Not through scale or spectacle, but through attention to the things that actually matter to the people in the room.
What a Private Experience Typically Costs
Private experiences are scoped individually based on the people involved, the location, the duration, and the level of production required. An intimate dinner for eight in Naples is built differently from a multi-day celebration across Tuscany for thirty.
We work across a range of scales and investment levels. The first conversation is about understanding the moment and the people — from there we advise on what is possible, where the highest value lies, and what the budget makes achievable. There are no minimum spend requirements for an initial conversation.
Who This Is For
Private experiences at DLISH are designed for individuals and families who expect a higher level of thought and execution than a standard event company provides.
Founders and executives marking personal milestones come to us when the occasion carries real weight and a generic format would be a failure of the moment. Families hosting meaningful gatherings — birthdays, anniversaries, reunions — where the people present deserve better than something assembled from a vendor list. Private clients who value discretion, cultural depth, and the particular quality of attention that comes from working directly with the people designing the experience rather than a coordinator managing subcontractors. Individuals who want what is created for them to reflect who they are, not what a category of event is supposed to look like.
If the moment carries weight, it should be designed accordingly.
