Part of the Famiglia Oliva Collection, the Gea (the earth) is used as an oil dish for dipping bread, a welcome ritual that evokes ancient traditions while enhancing the olive oil tasting experience. Handmade by local Neopolitan craftsman Rua Catalana, the tin-plated brass and copper dish is characterized by archetypal shapes.
Ideated by Mariella Caputo, a sommelier, restaurant owner and master olive oil taster and designer Astrid Luglio the Famiglia Oliva Collection playfully brings to life the ancient and rustic ritual of olive oil tasting.
